Keeping fit is a great way to look after both your body and your mind. With all gyms shut due to the lockdown, you may be missing the gym or wondering how to exercise at home.

Our friends over at UofG Sport are here to help!

"Light exercise is well known for its mood-boosting properties and, as most of us are cooped up at home, activity can help us to maintain our physical and mental wellbeing.

There are plenty of simple and practical ways to do this, and UofG Sport will share some great options with you over the weeks ahead."

Their wellbeing resource page, which you can find here, has loads of great videos and advice for all aspects of looking after yourself.

Nutrition and mindfulness

The nutrition and mindfulness page has information for healthy eating during challenging times, five-minute meditations to help you slow down and quieten the mind, as well as yoga videos for you to follow.

Cardiovascular Workouts

The cardiovascular workouts page has a library of cardio workouts to enjoy whenever you need some aerobic exercise.

Strength and Conditioning

The strength and conditioning page has a collection of workouts demonstrating simple and effective ways to improve your balance, flexibility and strength.

Don't forget to warm up and cool down!
