Get around with Glasgow NextBike

A great way to get around Glasgow is using the NextBikes, 650 of which can be found at stands across the city.

Students and staff members at UofG get a free annual membership, plus 60 minutes free each rental! For more information and how to register you can visit the UofG website. Not registered as a student yet? No problem! Between 29th June and 24th August 2020 the first 30 minutes of each rental is free. You can find out more here.

Cycle routes and parks

There are great cycle routes in and around Glasgow, as well as beautiful parks to explore.

The People Make Glasgow website has route suggestions, as does Glasgow City Council and Visit Scotland. There are also routes on apps like Strava and MapMyRide.

Stay safe while cycling
