Each month our dedicated Reslife team hosts a vibrant calendar of free on-site events for students living in the hall. From cosy movie nights, lively game nights, relaxed craft sessions, exciting competitions, and more, there are activities for everyone to enjoy. If you’re looking for a change of scenery, our ticketed Reslife Adventure trips are a fantastic opportunity to visit bucket-list locations around Scotland.

February Competition: Love Through the Lens

Capture the essence of what you love most and you could win a £25 Amazon voucher in our February competition! All you have to do is snap a photograph of something or someone you love and send it to before the 29th of February 2024 to enter. We can't wait to feel the love and see who or what warms your heart. Reslife Student Support Officer Drop-in

  • Time: 10AM - 3PM
  • Location: Reslife Office, Central Services Building

Drop in to the Reslife Office any time from 10AM to 3PM on Tuesday, 6th February, and meet the Reslife Student Support Officers Arlene and Sam. They'll be sharing information about what the Student Support Officers (SSOs) do and you can ask questions about a range of topics, including finance, study support, health and wellbeing, accessing specialist university services, and careers.

Murano Movie Night

Join us on Sunday, 11th February, from 7 to 9 PM in the Engagement Zone for our monthly Murano Movie Night. Experience the ultimate cosy home cinema vibe with comfy beanbags and a massive projector screen. There are only 24 spaces available, so booking is essential. Craft Club

Game Night

Get ready for an evening of pure entertainment at our Game Night on Sunday, 18th February, starting at 7PM in the Distraction Zone! Join us for a a fun evening filled with laughter and friendly competition with an array of games catering to all tastes. Whether you're a strategic board game master, a button-smashing video game aficionado, or a ping-pong pro, it's the perfect opportunity to unwind and bond with fellow residents!

Reslife Adventure: Highland Wildlife Park

  • Date: Sunday, 25th February
  • Time: 8am to 4:30pm (approx)
  • Pick up point: Main Gates, University Avenue
  • Tickets: £35 including return travel, park entry, and animal education session
  • Booking: Ticket link, payment deadline Friday, 9th February

Prepare for an incredible adventure on Sunday, 25th February, departing at 9 AM from University Avenue to explore the Highland Wildlife Park! Set in a stunning rural landscape spanning 105 hectares, the park is home to a diverse range of animals including snow leopards, wolves, Scottish wildcats, and an adorable polar bear cub born last year, to name a few. The trip is a fantastic opportunity to take part in an engaging animal education session and learn all about the wildlife and the extraordinary conservation efforts of the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland. Tickets cover hassle-free return private coach travel from University Avenue, park entry, and the animal education session.

Join us on one of our most popular trips of the year and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Loch Lomond on Sunday, 17th March, departing from University Avenue. Renowned for its beaches, woodland, wildlife, and breathtaking views, which can be enjoyed from dry land or by boat (not included), Loch Lomond is a picture-perfect place to spend the day.

Lomond Shores is a fantastic hub on the edge of Loch Lomond, with boutique shops, quaint cafes, tourist information, and brilliant attractions including an aquarium and bird of prey centre. We're also excited to visit their Farmer's Market, boasting stalls with fresh produce, jewellery, handmade gifts, crafts, as well as delicious hot food vendors.
